Performance Details

Understand SEO performance reporting, CSV exports, GEO performance context, and white-label reporting views.

Performance Details

Performance Details shows how a website is performing after Adaptify starts creating and tracking content. SEO Performance Details uses Google Search Console data for article, page, and keyword reporting. GEO Performance Details shows how the brand appears in AI assistant answers.

Use these pages for customer reporting, review calls, and spotting content that may need more publishing time, refreshing, internal links, or additional optimization.

SEO Performance Details

SEO Performance Details combines Adaptify keyword data with Google Search Console performance data. By default, it focuses on Adaptify-tracked keywords and content, so the report stays tied to the SEO work being done in the platform.

  • Site Added shows when the website was added to Adaptify. Last Updated shows the most recent Search Console data available for the report.
  • The comparison control compares the past 30 days against either the previous 30 days or the period since the site was added.
  • Only Keywords added to Adaptify keeps the report focused on Adaptify-tracked content. All Google Keyword Data expands the report to the broader Search Console dataset.
  • The Articles view shows article and page-level performance. The Keywords view shows query-level performance.
  • Impressions show how often a page or keyword appeared in Google search results. Clicks show how many visits came from Google Search.
  • Average position shows the average ranking position across the selected period. Lower numbers are better, so moving from position 18 to position 8 is positive.
  • Growth columns show the difference between the selected period and the comparison period. This helps separate new visibility from older performance.

The overview cards summarize articles or pages published, articles or pages ranking, keywords ranking, and keywords with clicks. Growth indicators compare the current period to the selected comparison range.

The table changes based on the selected view. Articles shows page-level performance and connected keywords. Keywords shows query-level performance and cluster context when available.

A page can be valuable before it gets many clicks. Early impressions often mean Google is testing the article for more queries. Click growth usually follows once rankings improve and titles or meta descriptions become more competitive.

In the authenticated Adaptify view, article and cluster names can link back into the product for deeper review.

GEO Performance Details

GEO Performance Details uses Bing data as part of the AI visibility workflow. The goal is to understand how the brand appears in AI assistant answers, not traditional Google rankings.

Why Bing data matters most

We see an extremely strong correlation between Bing data and ChatGPT result patterns. Because of that, we believe Bing data is a strong proxy for ChatGPT visibility data.

  • AI clusters represent broader AI visibility topics.
  • Prompts represent the questions or assistant tasks Adaptify wants the brand to perform well for.
  • Searches represent the specific intent being tested or answered.
  • AI citations show when assistants use or cite the site's content. Brand mentions show when assistants name the brand directly.
  • Custom prompts added from Brand Mentions are tracked for direct mentions and added to AI visibility (GEO) so Adaptify can support them with future content.
  • GEO reporting helps explain whether AI answers mention the brand, cite relevant sources, and present the company accurately.

Read GEO alongside SEO, but treat it as a separate visibility report.

White-label performance view

The white-label performance view shows SEO and GEO Performance Details inside a customer-facing reporting page with the agency's branding.

  • Operational Adaptify navigation is hidden.
  • Internal article, keyword, and cluster links are removed or shown as plain labels.
  • The default filter label changes to Only show active keywords so it reads naturally for customers.
  • The view is useful for sharing progress without exposing internal settings, admin controls, or Adaptify-specific workflow links.

Exporting performance data

Export to CSV downloads the currently selected report type for external reporting or spreadsheet analysis. If Articles is selected, the export includes article title, URL, keywords, impressions, clicks, average position, and growth values. If Keywords is selected, the export includes query, cluster, impressions, clicks, average position, and growth values.

The export also respects whether the report is focused on Adaptify-tracked keywords or all available Google keyword data, so choose the filter before exporting.
